Barikoi Maps for Shopify
A theme file drop-in that adds Barikoi maps to any Online Store 2.0 storefront. Not a Shopify app — copy the section, snippet, and asset files into your theme and merchants configure maps from the theme editor.
Sections
- Barikoi Map — single configurable map. Center, zoom, height, and map controls (navigation, fullscreen, scale, geolocate, marker) are all merchant-toggleable in the section settings.
- Store Locator — multi-branch locator. Each branch is a repeatable block with name, address, hours, phone, and coordinates. Markers cluster when zoomed out.
Where it fits
Barikoi is a location data platform that competes with Google Maps, with deeper accuracy in regions where Google's coverage is thin. The Shopify plugin's two sections are designed for:
- Contact or about pages with a single map
- Multi-branch store locator with a searchable list
- Delivery-zone maps on product or cart pages
- Pickup-point and click-and-collect displays
The map widget also ships with click-to-reverse-geocode (drop a pin, read the address) and on-map place search via Barikoi autocomplete.
Requirements
- Online Store 2.0 theme (Dawn or any OS 2.0 theme)
- Barikoi API key (see Links below)
- Shopify CLI for local development (optional)
